We will need to check whether you got the proper visa and if your visa was stamped properly by the immigration officer.  As mentioned before, there are some cases where the immigration officer fails to locate your visa and assumes that you are entering Taiwan under a VISA-EXEMPT ENTRY status.

We will photocopy the first page of your passport, the visa page and the Embarkation Card.

Diplomas & Certificates:

These are for your work permit application.  Depending on which school you eventually work in, we may need to submit the originals to the government.

Reference Letters:

If you have reference letters from your previous employers, whether they are teaching or non-teaching related, we will need to include them in your work permit application.

Photos:

If you don't have any, there's a photo shop right across the street from our building.

You will need at least ten (10) photos for your work permit.  The first two (2) photos will be used for your health certificate.  The rest are for your work visa application, resident visa, and alien resident certificate (ARC).

Signed Contract:

It is our policy that we only take teachers to do interviews and demonstrations after they have signed the contract and agreed to the terms and conditions stated therein.
